Syria's official news agency says a senior Iranian official visiting Damascus has held talks on Israel's weeklong offensive in Gaza with President Bashar Assad and leaders of radical Palestinian factions.
It says chief Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, also secretary of Iran's powerful Supreme National Security Council, met Assad Saturday after he conferred late Friday with Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal and Islamic Jihad chief Ramadan Abdullah Shallah.
The agency gave no details on Jalili's talks here.
Who cares what they had to talk about and you can guarantee that is not to congratulate Israel on the the offensive. This is just the same group of vultures telling each other about the time they will wipe Israel of the map and if they just read the Bible a little they would see they are still barking up the same stump. Don't worry about them because God has guaranteed the existence of Israel forever.Go for it!

My inclusion of the story is more to make clear the alliances. We will never know what they really talked about. I'm not worried but at the same time Israel will go through a time of great tribulation in the future (http://www.watchmanbiblestudy.com/BibleStudies/Definitions/Def_GreatTribulation.htm) once the man of sin comes on the scene. During that time they will be removed from Jerusalem and Judea to the wilderness for 3 1/2 years. Israel is going to be around forever, of which we are a part, but not without some troubles along the way.
